Strategist, entrepreneur, and partner at the Denver – based consulting firm, A New Dawn Media & Marketing.  I am an innovative problem solver with over 15 years experience in marketing, public relations/affairs, media creation, and facilitating effective strategic planning sessions resulting in creating compelling marketing & communications campaigns, strategic alliances, process optimization in diverse consumer-oriented marketplaces, and corporate environments.  My passion is helping companies and organizations grow by creating processes to manage change, assess and exploit trends, and move forward with strategies to optimize outcomes. Additionally, I have extensive experience developing and producing media product; working for various Hollywood Studios, including, Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Spelling Entertainment, Castle Rock Productions, and many others.

My strength lies in my holistic approach to marketing and strategic planning; making decisions while understanding the implications for the company or organization as a whole.

I hold a bachelors degree in communications for Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, MA .

I am the daughter of two very civically active parents.  I grew up watching my parents volunteer politically, mentor and tutor children in the community, and create organizations that raise funds for college scholarships.  We learn more from what we see then from what we are told.

I sit on the executive board of DRI Goods, Denver's Retail Incubator which is dedicated to raising money to help local entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level.  In early 2009, I started a youth program that mentors teen and teaches entrepreneurship, media production, and leadership skills.  The program is dedicated to helping youth realize their full potential.  I've been a board member and the liaison to the city of Denver's Parks and Recreation department for our  neighborhood association, Hampden Heights Civic Association, for the past 4 years.  I've been able to lessen the vandalism that happens in our parks, urge the system to invest in our ball fields and  start the process for a local improvement district to restore the entrances to our neighborhood.

Lastly, I am a part of the executive board of two political organizations - a county-level major political party, and CBWPA.  My goal is to encourage others to become involved in the political process and hold our representatives accountable.
